Five things to expect at the Apple event next week

Apple's upcoming September 12th event is almost here, and as is tradition, we're expecting to hear about the latest versions of Apple's most important product: the iPhone, which is coming off of a radical redesign in the form of last year's iPhone X.

But Apple is about more than just the iPhone, and the ecosystem of accessories and services that have sprung up around the iPhone have become hugely important in their own right, so expect plenty of news about the Apple Watch, AirPods, and maybe even the long-absent AirPower charging pad. That's in addition to all the new software announced at WWDC earlier this year, which should be getting close to a final release after a summer of beta testing.

Pre-loaded cartridges of cannabis concentrate are currently among the most popular means of consumption, and for good reason. They're discreet to use and easy to handle, a far cry from the dark days of 2016 when we had to dribble hash oil or load wax into narrow-mouthed vape pens by hand. But, frustratingly, an ever increasing number of oil cartridge manufacturers employ one-off design standards so that their products won't work with those of their competitors, thereby locking customers into proprietary ecosystems.
