VMware Certification Path has Five Tracks. 2. Where some of the Tracks have Four Levels 3. Only Level-2 comes with validity of 2 Years. 4. Level -1 is Optional. It means you can start directly from Level-2. 5. For VCIX, in most of tracks one has to pass two exams where one is Design and another is Deploy except Network Virtualization Track. 6. YouTube's dark mode reaches Android users

Image
YouTube has taken its sweet time bringing its " dark theme " to Android (iOS users got the option in March ), but it's finally here. The streaming video giant has started rolling out the option to at least some Google-powered devices. If you have it on your phone, you'll find it your Settings' General section. It's not certain how soon everyone will ge t the feature (we've asked Google for comment), but it may take some days to arrive. Don't despair if you're looking at the familiar white backdrop for a while. As on iOS and the web, this flips the main interface background to a dark gray with white text on top. It's mostly helpful for sparing your eyes during late night video marathons (so long as the videos themselves aren't blinding, of course). For that matter, it's also appealing if you have one of the growi

How to Remove Capacity disk from VSAN Disk Group

In a typical Datacenter, It is common that the disk failure can happen for the server. In modern systems, replacing failed disks isn't painful. Most of the disks in modern servers are hot-swappable disks and no need of downtime to servers while replacing the failed disk with the RAID systems. Fox AI predicts a movie's audience based on its trailer

Image
Modern movie trailers are already cynical exercises in attention grabbing (such as the social media-friendly burst of imagery at the start of many clips), but they might be even more calculated in the future. Researchers at 20th Century Fox have produced a deep learning system that can predict who will be most likely to watch a mo vie based on its trailer. Thanks to training that linked hundreds of trailers to movie attendance records, the AI can draw a connection between visual elements in trailers (such as colors, faces, landscapes and lighting) and the performance of a film for certain demographics. A trailer with plenty of talking heads and warm colors may appeal to a different group than one with lots of bold colors and sweeping vistas. Notably, the deep learning approach already appears to work in real world conditions. While Fox did use existing movies as a b

Netflix launches 'Riverdale's' Sabrina spin-off on October 26th

Image
If you're so hooked on Riverdale that one show isn't enough of a fix, you're in luck. Netflix has announced that its spin-off show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina will debut on October 26th -- just before Halloween, and conveniently two weeks after Riverdale 's season 3 premiere. There's no footage to show yet, but Kiernan Shipka (Sally Draper on Mad Men ) is playing the titular role, with creatives from Riverdale (including showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacassa) giving the show a familiar feel. As the name implies, this is the polar opposite of the '90s series. Here, Sabrina is grappling with her half-witch nature as she deals with both supernatural threats and the realities of her everyday life. You likely won't see crossover moments thanks to network complexities ( Riverdale is a CW show, Sabrina is Netflix-only), but this might scratch

NASA contest finalists show off their Mars habitat models

Image
Yes, we've yet to successfully send humans to Mars, but we already need to start thinking how we can stay there for long stretches of time -- or even for good. NASA launched the 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge back in 2015 to find a suitable artificial housing for the first wave of Martian residents, and now the agency has narrowed the contestants down to five after seeing the realistic virtual models they created. The agency and its project partner, Illinois' Bradley University, judged 18 teams' models created using a specialized software. According to TechCrunch , the software requires various details about the structures creators are designing. In other words, the teams couldn't just come up with a concept that looks good -- they had to make sure their habitats' wall thickness, heating, pressure sealing and other elements can actually withstand har

Netflix won't premiere 'Stranger Things' season 3 until summer 2019

Image
You'd better soak in that nostalgic Stranger Things season 3 teaser , as that's likely all you're getting for a while. Netflix programming exec Cindy Holland has revealed that the third installment of the Duffer brothers' show is launching sometime in summer 2019. That's a considerably longer wait than the 15 months between the first two seasons -- you're looking at a minimum of 18 months after season 2. There may be a good reason for the lengthier wait, though. Both the Duffers and executive producer Shawn Levy know the "stakes are high," according to Holland, and want to provide "bigger and better" material than in the second run. She added that there would be more special effects than before. While Holland didn't directly acknowledge th mixed reactions to the second season, there's little doubt that Netflix wants

Amazon may have another smartphone in the works

Image
Amazon's Fire Phone was a disaster by most accounts , but that might not stop Bezos and crew from giving handsets another try. In a speech at the Television Critics Association press tour (where Amazon has been very busy ), studio head Jennifer Salke said she has the prototype of a future Amazon phone that would reportedly have a better interface for Prime Video. Salke didn't delve into specifics, to no one's surprise, but she claimed it was "much more intuitive" and that you could even see it in her office. Just let us know when you're ready to give a product demo, Jennifer. The executive didn't know when the device would ship. Don't get your hopes up for an imminent launch, then. You might not want to treat this as definitive proof that a new phone is coming, either. As powerful as Salke is, she's an entertainment exec wit

Tesla's latest zero-emissions ride is a $1,500 surfboard

Image
Good news: you won't have to wait until 2020 to try a new Tesla-branded ride. However, you may want to learn how to hang ten first. Tesla has quietly introduced a limited-run (just 200 units) surfboard that matches the company's vehicle aesthetic to a tee, including its red-and-black coloring and hints of carbon fiber (in this case, to reinforce the deck). Naturally, it'll fit inside the Model 3 and Tesla's other existing cars. And this isn't a casual effort -- Tesla had the help of Lost Surfboards and professional board maker Matt Biolos, so this design shoul d carve the waves quite nicely. There's just one main problem... you can't buy it anymore. Even if the $1,500 price didn't give you pause (it probably didn't if you can afford a Tesla vehicle), the custom-made board sold out soon after it appeared in the store. Even t

Android users can now get YouTube’s dark mode

Image
In March, YouTube revealed that it was releasing a dark mode for its mobile apps, starting with its iOS version. Now, Android users are beginning to get the feature on their apps. YouTube added a dark mode to its desktop site last year , and the company says that it became one of the most requested features for its apps. 9to5Google reports that the feature began rolling out yesterday, notifying users with a prompt. It also says that it can be turned on and off in the app's settings. Verizon VPN app protects against shady public WiFi

Image
Add Verizon to the list of tech giants that can't resist the temptation to offer their own virtual private network services. The carrier (and Engadget's parent company) has released a Safe Wi-Fi app for Android that uses the encryption of a VPN to protect you against dodgy WiFi hotspots. Ideally, you won't have to worry about a fake access point intercepting your data traffic at the airport or coffe e shop. The app even blocks ad trackers that can lead to targeted marketing -- yes, the telecom that got in trouble for aggressive ad tracking is now helping you avoid it. There's a recurring fee like with many apps, although the $4 per month you'll pay is a bit of a bargain compared to other services. TunnelBear, for instance, amounts to $5 per month if you're willing to pay on a yearly basis. The bigger gotcha may be the range of eligible devic
