Yves Béhar’s Hive View is a lovely detachable indoor camera


Yves Béhar, known for his sleek designs like the August smart lock and this Samsung TV, has applied his skills to Hive’s new indoor camera, as spotted by DesignBoom. The Hive View is a small detachable magnetic camera with 130-degree view, manual pan-and-tilt control, and the ability to send alerts to your smartphone when it detects motion or sound.

Hive View starts recording when it detects motion or sound in accordance to your sensitivity settings. Once detected, it’ll send notifications to your smartphone via the Hive app on both iOS and Android.
