Weird little VMware Error – “Your vSphere Client Session is no longer authenticated”

QuickFixButton

So I had a brand new 6.5 environment rolled out and the client was getting this weird error when logging in.  Hmm .. Time for a little Google-Fu.

I was able to find some articles that talked about vSphere 6.0 and Chrome version 45 and up.   KB Article

The issue with this KB article is that it points to the 6.0 CIP and no links to the 6.5 stuff.

On a whim, I just clicked the Download Enhanced Authentication Plugin on the bottom of the UI login screen.

This prompted me to uninstall (which I did) and then I clicked the link again to reinstall.  Closed the browser and I haven't been able to reproduce the original error again.

Solved. ;)
