Technology has changed my World Cup watching for the better

Have you heard? It's World Cup season! Given that the World Cup only happens every four years, it's been a good time for me to reflect on the changes in how I've been watching the greatest sporting event on the planet (at least, since the last time the tournament rolled around.) In short, technology has made this World Cup better than ever, with everything from the memes to the resolution getting a big boost this year.

And speaking personally, one of the biggest differences for me is the massive growth in internet streaming, combined with the prevalence of unlimited data plans that has made this year's matches that much easier to watch. We won't see a 'universal' vape oil cartridge anytime soon

Pre-loaded cartridges of cannabis concentrate are currently among the most popular means of consumption, and for good reason. They're discreet to use and easy to handle, a far cry from the dark days of 2016 when we had to dribble hash oil or load wax into narrow-mouthed vape pens by hand. But, frustratingly, an ever increasing number of oil cartridge manufacturers employ one-off design standards so that their products won't work with those of their competitors, thereby locking customers into proprietary ecosystems.
