Oculus Go standalone VR headset rumored to launch at F8 developer conference


Facebook is reportedly planning to launch its Oculus Go standalone virtual reality (VR) headset at the company’s F8 developer conference this year. Variety reports that the VR headset is likely to make its debut at F8 in May, alongside Facebook’s promise of “the biggest AR / VR news from Facebook to date.”

Oculus first unveiled its new standalone VR headset back in October, which will be priced at $199 once it ships. The Go is designed to be a standalone headset that will sit in-between the $129 Gear VR and the $499, without inside-out tracking or fully tracked motion controllers. Pre-loaded cartridges of cannabis concentrate are currently among the most popular means of consumption, and for good reason. They're discreet to use and easy to handle, a far cry from the dark days of 2016 when we had to dribble hash oil or load wax into narrow-mouthed vape pens by hand.
