PS4 Pro update will make 4K games look better on 1080p TVs


Sony has revealed some features in an upcoming PlayStation 4 update that include tools for play time management, custom wallpapers, and library enhancements. The PlayStation system software 5.50 beta also includes a supersampling mode on the PS4 Pro that Sony says will enable players with HDTVs (1080p or less) to “enjoy an enhanced visual experience when playing some PS4 games.” The beta system software is rolling out to those who signed up and were selected for the program.
