DJI put a cute Line bear on its latest Spark drone

DJI has teamed up with Japanese chat app giant Line for what it describes as its "first characterized drone." It's a version of the entry-level, portable Spark that bears the visage of Brown, the stoic bear found in countless emoji and sticker sets.

As a chat app, Line is only really popular in Japan, Taiwan, and a couple of other Asian regions. But its original characters have proven to be a credible business in their own right — Line Friends merchandise is now sold in 108 countries, and the company opened a flagship store in New York's Times Square last year.
