Apple adding 70 new emoji including super hero, cupcake, and redheads to iOS 12

Ahead of World Emoji Day tomorrow, Apple just shared the latest details about new emojis that are coming to iOS later this year. More than 70 new characters — including emoji for bald people, redheads, and those that have gone gray — were created based on previously approved characters in Unicode 11.0.

New animals will be added, too, including a kangaroo, parrot, and lobster, along with a handful of food options like a head of lettuce, a mango, a cupcake, and a moon cake. "Many additional characters across sports, symbols, and more, will launch later this year, including a new superhero emoji, a softball, nazar amulet, and infinity symbol," Apple wrote in its blog post. Pre-loaded cartridges of cannabis concentrate are currently among the most popular means of consumption, and for good reason. They're discreet to use and easy to handle, a far cry from the dark days of 2016 when we had to dribble hash oil or load wax into narrow-mouthed vape pens by hand.
