Garmin adds music to the do-it-all Vivoactive 3 smartwatch

Garmin just announced a riff on its Vivoactive 3 wearable that adds a music player and local storage to the combination fitness tracker and GPS smartwatch. It's called the Vivoactive 3 Music and will list for $299.99, about $50 more than the starting price of the non-music edition.

The Vivoactive 3 was first announced in August as a direct competitor to the fitness tracking smartwatches sold by Apple, Fitbit, and Samsung. The Vivoactive 3 Music has all the features found on the original, including Garmin Pay contactless payments, a touchscreen with swipeable bezel, heart-rate sensors, stress and VO2 max fitness level calculations, a bevy of built-in activity trackers, phone notifications, and support for third-party watch faces and apps...
