Motorola’s Moto G6 Play leaked in regulatory filing


Motorola’s Moto G6 was absent from this week’s Mobile World Congress, thus missing the obvious annual refresh time frame after last year’s G5 was announced at the show. Presumably, the G6 and G6 Plus are still due sometime in the coming weeks; the series is known for representing perhaps the best value in midrange phones. During MWC, Motorola teased that something is on the way, but before the official unveiling, a Moto G6 Play phone has been leaked by Taiwanese certification agency NCC, as noted by TrendyTechz. (I don’t choose the blog names, people.)

The company typically tacks “Play” onto a phone’s name to signal that it has long battery life, and that appears to be the case again here. The G6 Play is expected to have a 4,000mAh...
