Microsoft is once again selling its own custom version of Samsung’s Galaxy S9. The handset is available in Microsoft Stores in the US, and will ship with some customizations from Microsoft. “A Microsoft customization is applied to the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus Microsoft Edition when the devices are unboxed and connected to Wi-Fi,” says a Microsoft spokesperson in a statement to TrustedReviews.

These customizations are likely the same as last year’s Galaxy S8, with Microsoft apps like Office, OneDrive, Cortana, Outlook all bundled on the device. Microsoft’s popular Launcher doesn’t appear to be preinstalled. While Microsoft is labeling the Galaxy S9 a “Microsoft Edition,” in its statement, Samsung previously told The Verge...

We won't see a 'universal' vape oil cartridge anytime soon

Pre-loaded cartridges of cannabis concentrate are currently among the most popular means of consumption, and for good reason. They're discreet to use and easy to handle, a far cry from the dark days of 2016 when we had to dribble hash oil or load wax into narrow-mouthed vape pens by hand. But, frustratingly, an ever increasing number of oil cartridge manufacturers employ one-off design standards so that their products won't work with those of their competitors, thereby locking customers into proprietary ecosystems.
