The brand has unveiled its first all-wireless in-ear headphones, the catchily-named ATH-CKR7TW. They tout the familiar oversized earbud design you've seen from established rivals but put a focus on (surprise!) fidelity above the smart features you sometimes get elsewhere. After earlier tweeting, deleting and re-posting unsupported claims that Google is "suppressing voices of Conservatives," this afternoon the President's personal Twitter account posted a new attack video . It claimed that the company failed to promote his State of the Union address with a link on its homepage after doing so for President Barack Obama, but several things about it don't hold up. In a statement to the media, Google explained that isn't quite true, since a President's first address to Congress (like Donald Trump's this year) is not technically a State of the Union address, and explained that it did not promote Obama's speech in 2009 or Trump's in 2017. Place recommendations don't tend to take the weather into account. You don't really want to visit the park when it's pouring outside, do you? AccuWeather certainly doesn't think so -- it's partnering with Foursquare on a "hyper-local" recommendation system in MinuteCast that takes the conditions into account when pointing you to new destinations. It'll suggest the beach or the pool on a hot day, or point you to a nearby coffee shop if you want shelter from the rain. And yes, AccuWeather is aware of privacy concerns . You'll have to opt-in to sharing you location, and this can be turned off. Foursquare's place data also strips out personally identifying info. DC Universe, the comic book giant's exclusive streaming platform, is officially going live on this year's Batman Day. The digital subscription service opened limited access to its beta version in August with the promise of a wider release this fall -- now you only have to wait a couple more weeks before it opens its doors to everyone on September 15th. If you've been looking forward to Titans in particular, though, we're afraid you won't see it anywhere on the platform on launch day: the series will officially begin on October 12th, 2018 after Warner Bros. The "celebgate" saga appears to be winding to a close. A federal judge in Connecticut has sentenced George Garofano to eight months in prison and three years' supervised release after pleading guilty to compromising celebrities' iCloud accounts (plus hundreds of others) by tricking them into providing usernames and passwords. His defense had pushed for a five-month prison term with five months of home confinement, but the judge appeared to side more closely with prosecu tors, who wanted 10 to 16 months behind bars. The prosecution had pointed out in a sentencing memo that Garofano was fully aware of what he was doing. He obtained logins and stole information (including nude photos) 240 times in the space of 18 months, according to the note, and readily shared them with others. President Donald Trump intensified his criticism of Google today, posting a native video of unknown origin to his Twitter account this afternoon claiming the search giant stopped promoting the State of the Union (SOTU) address on its homepage after he took office. It turns out the video he posted is not only misleading, but also contains what appears to be a fake screenshot of the Google homepage on the day in question. Dyson is most definitely serious about its plans to release an electric vehicle . The company has outlined its proposed second growth phase for its EV development facility at Hullavington Airfield, and the plans are more than a little ambitious. Its application would create more than 10 miles of test tracks around the former base, including specialized tracks for hill and off-roading tests. You'd also see more than 480,000 square feet of new new development space with room for 2,000-plus workers. This wouldn't come cheap, either. Dyson has poured £84 million (about $109.5 million) into the facility so far, and this would more than double the expense to £200 million ($260.6 million). Back at CES, Samsung gave us a glimpse at the Q9S 8K TV , which notably used artificial intelligence to upscale content to 8K. That was cool, but it was just a concept. During its IFA presentation today, the company unveiled its first 8K QLED TV that'll actually be available for purchase: The Q900FN. It loses the easel-like design of the concept for a more traditional stand, but it packs in many of the same features, including a real 8K resolution and AI upscaling.
